Our highest category of accommodation, the Premier Vintage Suites rest upon the top floors of our five authentic Joglo wooden houses, built in 1911, 1913, 1957, 1980 and 1982 respectively. They were selected mostly from current family members of the past owner, three generations past, and dismantled before being reassembled and renovated in Kintamani. Staying in any of these historical suites allows you to gain a true sense of the warm simplicity of a wooden Joglo home, enjoying its original characteristics combined with luxury and refined spaciousness, living in peace, privacy and comfort.

Decorated in natural tones and showcasing intricately carved pillars, our antique Joglo buildings were once the homes of Javanese nobles. Each features a roof resembling a mountain and a symbolic arrangement of beams in a pyramid-like structure with the roof-pitch height indicating the social status of the owner.

Each contemporary styled suite features a large open-plan layout complemented by the relaxing facility of a sheltered balcony that wraps around the room offering spectacular views and the sensation of living in the forest. Each immaculate suite is furnished with a king-size bed and a “Kartini” colonial-style chaise lounge sofa with comfy cushions.
